BIG PINE LAKE
The campground is on the south shore of Big Pine Lake, which is located in Eastern Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Otter Tail County has the distinction of having more lakes than any other county in the United States. Golden Eagle RV Village is located in what is commonly referred to as "The heart of the lakes".
According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources,
"Big Pine Lake has a reputation as one of the premier walleye angling lakes in Otter Tail County. Northern pike and yellow perch are also abundant"
